TropmedTalk is our podcast series that explores pressing infectious disease issues in Indonesia and beyond. To celebrate the 27th anniversary of the Center for Tropical Medicine UGM, we took TropmedTalk offline through a series of public talk shows and events.
These sessions highlighted topics such as leprosy, dengue, HIV in marginalized communities, malaria, and TB. Each event was tailored to different audiences—from scientific seminars for health professionals, to interactive storytelling for children, and casual talk shows for youth—ensuring inclusive and engaging health communication across sectors.
TropmedTalk on Stage brought together diverse voices—from academics and researchers to youth leaders, transgender advocates, and storytelling artists. This inclusive speaker lineup reflects our commitment to amplifying youth and marginalized communities in health conversations.
